We’re now looking for proactive Legal Counsel to join our Corporate Legal team. In this role, you’ll be the owner of data protection topics, leading compliance across multiple countries, while also supporting corporate, labor and commercial matters. You will work under the guidance of the Head of Legal, who oversees the department and provides strategic guidance and oversight.

This role brings complex challenges in the fast-moving clinical research environment, and you’ll be expected to navigate them with a strong sense of ownership, applying your legal and data protection expertise to practical business needs. šŸ”Ž Who are we looking for?

šŸ’¼ Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in Law
  • Data protection certification (e.g., Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or similar is an advantage
  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant legal field, with hands-on data protection and exposure to corporate, commercial, and employment law
  • Solid understanding of legal and regulatory compliance, corporate legal processes, contract law, and risk management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly
  • High professionalism, confidentiality, and ability to handle sensitive legal and employee data
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of information security principles, and basic cybersecurity concepts, with practical application
  • Strong analytical skills, including assessing legal risks and preparing concise legal reports and summaries
  • Fluent in English


šŸ“‘ Your responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of the Head of Legal, contributing to the team’s overall compliance and legal support efforts
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in data protection, corporate, employment and commercial law, providing guidance to internal teams and external parties
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents, ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies
  • Manage contracts, vendor relationships, and support the vendor qualification process
  • Conduct legal research and advise on potential risks, opportunities, and legal strategies
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, including data protection, industry standards, and internal policies
  • Support risk management processes, including risk analysis and mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel, brokers, and consultants to ensure consistent and high-quality legal support
  • Assist in corporate governance, board meetings, registrations, licenses, and other formalities
  • Contribute to policy development and continuous updates to align with evolving legal and regulatory standards
  • Support insurance programs, audits, inspections, and other internal legal and administration processes
